WHO ARE VEGETABLE CREATIONS?

Vegetable Creations was born in 1987 in a small shop in Caulfield, Melbourne. Coming from India in 1980 Jitendra Bhatia was trained in Hotel Management and Catering in Bombay . With his knowledge of food and specially his vegetarian philosophy, he started in Australia working with, and being inspired into the world of traditional natural ingredients by, well known Natural Food teacher, cook and author John Downes in his Natural Tucker Bakery.

Jitendra and family started an Indian Restaurant in the early 1980s and recognised the potential of making organic handmade vegetarian foods. So began the manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing of Vegetable Creations, which today is going from strength to strength.

In 2002 a new Vegetable Creations factory in Dandenong opened. Top quality foods are made for selected health food and specialty gourmet stores in Victoria , South Australia , Tasmania , N.S.W and Queensland . You will also find Vegetable Creations at Melbourne University , RMIT and Latrobe University and other colleges.
